I'm a self-taught autodidactic tautologist — yes, that's intentionally redundant, and yes, I find that hilarious. I've spent 30+ years solving problems nobody else wants to touch, armed with relentless curiosity and an obsession with understanding how things actually work. I once competed as "Ender" in Descent when I was ranked #1 in the world at it. These days I channel that same intensity into healthcare technology and analytics.
My career arc tells a story: from founding a dial-up ISP in rural Louisiana at 22 — literally bringing the internet to a community that didn't have it — to serving as CIO managing technology for 25+ hospital systems with over $3B in accounts receivable. I read voraciously outside my lane, I approach every problem with analytical rigor, and I've never lost the ability to laugh at myself along the way.
Today I run Revelliance Solutions, bringing decades of healthcare IT and data expertise directly to clients. I also serve as CIO for Full Spectrum Healthcare Management, providing the technology backbone for federal-level compliance consulting. I build things that work, I move faster than people expect, and I have strong opinions about coffee.

I explain market forces when the kids ask about the Tooth Fairy, teach them about dystopian fiction at bedtime, and respond to "He's a puppet!" with "We are not prejudiced. Puppets are people too!" There is no joy in life close to being a parent — watching them choose the parts of you they want to emulate puts your entire existence into focus.
My son is also my pool partner — we play league together and share a bond built on absurdist humor and competitive billiards. My daughter Lotus shows up at tournaments too. My partner, The Soprano, is a professional singer and pianist who also happens to be a 9-ball MVP — she brings grace to everything, including the pool table. Family isn't separate from what I do; it's the reason I do any of it.
I love my friends deeply, loudly, and without reservation. If you're in my orbit, you're getting a laugh, a meal, an honest opinion, and someone who genuinely cares how you're doing. Life is too short to be half-hearted about the people in it.
